Rabbi Eliezer Garner and his wife Michele (The Rockin' Rebbetzin) are a unique couple doing very unique Jewish programming here at WSIA. Rabbi Garner was a close friend and ordainee of the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. Rabbi Garner, one of the original founders of Rabbi Carlebach's first House of Love and Prayer in San Francisco, California in 1967, was with Rabbi Carlebach on the famous 20 mile walk on the Los Angeles freeway. This story is told on Rabbi Garner's CD, "Tomorrow Will Be Shabbos". Rabbi Garner is dedicated to continuing Shlomo's legacy of receptive, joyous Judaism. You can experience a 60's flavor in the alternative Jewish music Rabbi Garner plays on his show every Sunday from 9:00AM to 11:00AM EST.

Rabbi Garner likes to play Jewish Rock, and other upbeat Jewish Music that will make you feel like singing and dancing. You can enjoy artists like Ruby Harris, Yitzak Halevi Band, Even Sh'siyah, Yitzak Attias, and Yid Core. WSIA's Kabballah Airwaves Show has become the flagship station for the highly popular Israeli rock band Reva L'sheva.and Australian Punk Band YidCore

Rabbi Garner is a Hassid of the late Rabbi Nachman of Breslev whose philosophy is that it is a mitzvah (commandment) to be happy all the time.
