At the 39th annual 2003 Staten Island St. Patrick's Day Parade, WSIA was there bringing you up to the minute coverage. We were located next to the grandstand along the 2.2 mile route. We gave out plenty of Cds, WSIA bumper stickers ad WSIA pens. The crowds were great and enjoyed the beautiful weather. WSIA interviewed people on the street asking them about the parade. We also interviewed the former Staten Island Borough President Guy Molinari, Senator Schumer, Parade Chairman Chip McLean as well as many more. We all enjoyed it very much and hope to cover the event next year.
