GROUNDHOG DAY!
Saturday February 2, 2002 - 7AM
Listen to WSIA on Ground Hogs Day, Saturday, Feburary 2nd, as we broadcast
live from the Staten Island Zoo.
Chuck the groundhog, in his residence at the zoo will waddle his way out
of his cottage to make his annual weather prediction.
Chuck will be completing his 20th year on this special day (02-02-02) and
has been right 16 out of the last 20 years.
The ceremony officially begins at 7am, admission is free and breakfast will
be served.
Local artists such as Outloud and Donkey will be performing as well as the
Port Richmond High School Marching Band.
